Will the physical supplement be abolished in 2019?

Rumors that the payment of the bonus for physical training will be canceled next year have appeared since the appearance of the corresponding payment. At the moment, there are no regulatory legal acts that have entered into legal force that payments for physical education will be canceled in 2019 No!

Will there be a physical supplement in 2019?

At the moment, there is no confirmed information about the abolition of the physical supplement, and this accordingly means that this physical supplement will be paid in 2019 as before.

Military service is not only the constitutional duty of every man in the country, but also an incredible test for young people. A sharp change in microclimate, everyday life and environment, all types of stress, special training require strength and endurance. For this reason, the army pays special attention to compliance with physical physical fitness standards developed specifically for military personnel. This is a set of activities that includes several types of loads aimed at improving the functioning of different muscles, physical strength and health of men.

Introduction to the topic

The most striking information from world history regarding military strength training has been known since the times of Ancient Greece. Military leaders regularly trained soldiers in several sports, including swimming, martial arts, athletics, and strength training. The need for physical development of men was a prerequisite for military service, since each of them was trained to perform combat missions.

On the territory of the Russian Federation, military service is served in several directions. These include:

  • employed military personnel, that is, those working under a contract (the position held may be related to administrative functions, training of soldiers, as well as participation in combat operations);
  • conscripts (a category of military personnel undergoing military service, that is, the training of men is carried out on the basis of the Constitution, and is organized with the aim of developing basic skills, knowledge and abilities);
  • special units (a group of soldiers taking an active part in combat missions, both on the territory of Russia and abroad);
  • cadets and cadets (students of higher educational institutions preparing for contract work).

Depending on the assigned tasks, as well as the nature of serving military service, each soldier must perform exercises to test the degree of strength training.

The formation of a scale of standards is carried out on the basis of Order of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation No. 200, adopted in 2009. In addition, the exercises (mechanism) used in practice are described in detail, as well as the rules for their implementation. Some sections contain graphical representations of exercises.

According to the standards of this document, the verification uses a point system, which is compiled taking into account such indicators as age, position, gender, rank.

Important! When organizing testing, it is imperative that a medical professional be present to monitor blood pressure and pulse rate in order to stop the exercise in a timely manner.

General requirements for physical training and passing standards

According to the norms of Order No. 200, physical training is a process whose purpose is to improve the physical qualities of a military personnel. The scoring table is created based on individual characteristics, demographic indicators and the requirements of a particular position.

Thus, the following main areas of military training can be distinguished:

  • agility (a set of activities aimed at the ability to quickly respond to changing environmental conditions, as well as making decisions when there is not enough time and in emergency situations);
  • speed (development of skills of fast movement on all types of terrain, including when overcoming obstacles);
  • strength exercises (general strengthening exercises, as well as those promoting the growth of muscle mass);
  • hand-to-hand combat techniques (including methods of self-defense, methods of arrest, disarming, evading a pistol and stabbing, as well as methods of releasing from grips);
  • endurance (obtaining satisfactory results in uncomfortable conditions);
  • swimming (applies only during conscription into the Air Force and Navy).

The main general requirement for candidates and active military personnel is comprehensive development and the ability to complete a list of exercises at least at a minimum level.

Assessment methods

Order No. 200 fixed a list of methods used in assessing the physical fitness of conscripts and contract soldiers.

Table No. 1 “Used directions and their features”

TechniquesCharacteristic
Training sessionsThese types of training apply to all positions and branches of the military. Moreover, it is stipulated that regular theoretical and practical training should be conducted with the personnel of a military formation. During theory lessons, basic skills and abilities are formed, and then the learned material is tested in practice. This group also includes educational and training sessions on various types of physical activity. It is also mandatory to provide instructions and formulate methodological recommendations for the correct execution of exercises.
Daily morning exercisesComplex exercises aimed at overall strengthening of the body. During the exercises, the entire condition of the military is assessed, and possible disorders and illnesses are identified.
Combat trainingAll activities related to the preparation of personnel for combat operations. Includes a set of exercises for endurance, reaction speed and strength. Assessment of acquired skills is carried out during educational and training missions
Mass sportsConducting complex classes and competitions between different military formations or training groups. The score is calculated on the principle of “who shows himself better”
Self-preparationThe order sets out a training plan during free time, the purpose of which is to maintain the general tone of the body.

In addition to everything, you can additionally add medical methods to the above list. This is theoretical knowledge on the basis of which the formation of boundary load indicators (age, height, weight) is carried out. Doctors from military institutions conduct regular examinations of employees to identify frustration or fatigue, and may also be present during practical training and exams.

PHYS score table

As mentioned above, the standards are passed on the basis of a point system, where the maximum score is 100 points. The final grade is calculated as the sum of all indicators and grades for them. Thus, it is possible to obtain the following marks:

  • “bad” (0-35);
  • “good” (36-60);
  • “excellent” (61-100).

The most important condition that must be taken into account is the age of the serviceman. Thus, there are 8 age groups of physical fitness, which are taken as the basis for the formation of loads.

3 31-35
4 36-40
5 41-45

Given the specifics of the activity, complete exemption from physical activity, as well as passing standards, is not allowed. The exception is significant contraindications from the doctor.

Standards for military personnel under contract

Physical physical education for military personnel is not only one of the ways to assess acquired skills, but also one of the stages of selecting candidates for employment. Since contract service involves the payment of wages and the fulfillment of a certain list of official duties, the candidate is accepted based on the results of a competition.

Thus, the selection of candidates based on strength training is carried out on special principles:

  • passing at least 3 standards is required;
  • all results must be positive (the failure of even one of the indicators excludes the possibility of hiring);
  • The applicant for signing the contract can choose independently which exercises to take.

After employment, a citizen must continue to play sports and then pass the relevant exams.

Important! The quality of the selected exercises affects not only the fact of employment. Depending on the results obtained, contract soldiers are also distributed to different positions and types of troops.

So, there are 3 possible groups of positions, namely:

  1. Special units, intelligence service, air force, paratroopers.
  2. Participants in combat operations.
  3. Workers in the material support sector, as well as medical care.

Each applicant is interested in passing the exercises at the highest level.

Standards for conscript soldiers

When recruiting soldiers into the army, the fact that most of them arrive physically unprepared for excessive stress is taken into account. Consequently, the table for assessing the physical fitness of such military personnel is somewhat easier than for contract soldiers. The standards are calculated taking into account the time that will be allocated for training conscripts.

In addition, depending on the region, other types of regulations may be added. For example, swimming classes and tests are relevant in some areas.

There is no need to be afraid of these numbers, since the daily routine of employees is structured in such a way that time is necessarily allocated for physical activity. This could be morning exercises, jogging before bed, as well as planned physical exercise. In any case, the standards are drawn up based on the recommendations of doctors, many years of experience and practice.

Male. A version for military women is in development. Please, if you find an error or inconsistency, write about it in the comments at the end of the article.

In 2009, the Minister of Defense issued Order No. 200 “On approval of the Manual on physical training in the RF Armed Forces.” Based on this document, as well as guidelines for checking physical. training in the Armed Forces for the current year there is a real online PHYS calculator for military personnel. It allows you to quickly calculate points based on the standards in 2019.

Military categories and ratings

Despite the modern equipment of the army, where, it would seem, the use of physical effort is not required, the military still must comply with physical training standards, and no one questions this requirement. Equipment, no matter how perfect it may be, can fail, and then the outcome of the battle depends only on the strength, endurance, and dexterity of the soldier. For this reason, the above documents enshrine those forms and methods of training military personnel in Russia that have been used for decades in the Soviet Union.

The evaluation criteria depend on the category to which the employee belongs. They are different for:

  • conscript service;
  • contract services;
  • those undergoing training at universities in military departments;
  • warrant officers or midshipmen and officers;
  • employees of special units.

Separately, standards are provided for the female gender, both for technical and staff areas, and combat units, as well as applicants to relevant educational institutions.

Strength, agility and endurance

Training assessment is carried out in several directions in the same way. Exercises are divided into strength exercises, development of agility, speed and endurance of the employee. Military applied skills are also assessed.

For example, for agility there are long jumps and goat jumps. Squats and the bar show strength training. Races allow you to determine an employee's speed over short distances and endurance over long distances. With the help of forced marches of one or another duration, the level of military-applied skills is determined.

Regulation No. 17 to the above-mentioned Order of the Minister of Defense defines a detailed list of all exercises, however, when passing the standards, it is not necessary to do everything. They are appointed based on the employee's performance. One exercise is selected from each group, and it must be completed in order to pass the standard.

For example, conscripts who arrived at the HF must do pull-ups, run distances of 100 m and 1 km. Those who enter the university must do pull-ups, run 100 m and 3 km distances, and swim 100 m.

Evaluation of results

For each exercise, an employee can receive a rating of “excellent,” “good,” “satisfactory,” or “unsatisfactory.” The assessment process as a whole is carried out by assigning points for all exercises separately, but you will not be able to retake them to improve your grade. Each employee is given only one approach, however, this procedure does not apply to persons who are sick or injured during the inspection.

Individual cards are issued for employees, taking into account physical results. preparation. The same data is reflected in the statement of inspection results.

Consequences of failure

Employees are required to pass all standards. Anyone who receives an excellent mark will receive various incentives, including cash rewards. If the standards are not met, then the consequences depend on the category.

Conscripts will continue to serve, increasing their level of physical fitness, while contract soldiers will be given a 5-month test. If the standards are not passed again, then the question is raised about the prospect of the army soldier being in the ranks of the RF Armed Forces. It is generally impossible to enroll in a military department without the proper level of preparation. The standards here are assessed as an exam. The same conditions apply to those wishing to join the army on a contract basis.

approved at the legislative level. The physical training of the military is considered as the main element of their combat readiness, therefore an entire program has been developed to assess in this direction every citizen who has joined the ranks of the Russian army.

When is the level of physical fitness of a military personnel checked?

The duties of every military personnel include systematic physical exercise. Contract soldiers and conscripts must engage in physical training at least 5 hours a week, and cadets and students of military universities - 4 hours a week.

The results of classes are subject to monitoring and recording. The commander or head of physical training and sports controls the level of physical fitness of a serviceman, and they are also responsible for keeping records of physical fitness. The instruments of accounting and control are practical tests of military personnel, during which they pass physical fitness standards.

Assessment of the state of physical fitness of military personnel occurs in the manner prescribed in the order of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation “On approval of the Manual on physical training in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation” No. 200 dated April 21, 2009. In accordance with this order, military personnel, depending on their position, are tested for their level of physical fitness in the following cases:

  • Conscripts - within the first 2 weeks after arriving at the unit for service.
  • Contractors - before signing and renewing the contract, as well as quarterly throughout the entire period of service.
  • Cadets and students of military universities - when passing entrance exams, and during the training process during intermediate and final certifications, as well as during inspections.

Another basis for checking the level of physical fitness of a serviceman is his appointment to a higher position.

Differences in standards for certain categories of military personnel

To assess their physical fitness, all military personnel are conditionally divided into 3 categories:

  • Category No. 1 - employees of special forces, reconnaissance, airborne, air assault and marine units.
  • Category No. 2 - personnel of military units, cadets and students of military universities.
  • Category No. 3 consists of supplies, technical, medical and other service personnel.

This division is quite understandable, because the level of physical training of fighters on the front line should be much higher than that of those involved in supporting the troops.

But, in addition to the fact that military personnel are divided into categories, contract soldiers have standards established depending on age and gender. As a result, the Physical Fitness Assessment Table, approved by Order No. 200 of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, includes the following categories of military personnel:

  • Candidates for military universities:
    • male;
    • female and from among civilian youth.
    • Conscripts:
      • employees less than 6 months;
      • employees for more than 6 months.
    • Cadets:
      • 1st year;
      • 2nd year;
      • 3rd year and older.
    • Contractors aged:
      • up to 25 years;
      • 25-29 years old;
      • 30-34 years old;
      • 35-39 years old;
      • 40-44 years old;
      • 45-49 years old;
      • 50-54 years old;
      • 55 years and older.
    • Military women aged:
      • up to 25 years;
      • 25-29 years old;
      • 30-34 years old;
      • 35-39 years old;
      • 40-44 years old;
      • 45 years and older.

Don't know your rights?

What exercises are included in the testing program?

The level of physical fitness is assessed in several directions at once. The exercises are divided into groups to assess the strength, agility, endurance, and speed of a serviceman. Military applied skills are also subject to assessment.

To assess agility, a service member may perform the long jump and goat jump. Bar exercises and squats indicate strength, short distance running helps determine a soldier's speed, and long distance running helps determine his endurance. To assess applied military skills, a serviceman performs forced marches of varying durations and demonstrates his level of proficiency in hand-to-hand combat techniques.

A detailed list of exercises that can be used to assess the level of physical fitness of a serviceman is enshrined in Appendix No. 17 to Order No. 200 of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. But during the passing of the standards, not all exercises from the list are performed.

Specific exercises are assigned taking into account the focus of the examinee’s military professional activity. From each group of exercises, only one is selected, for which the standards are passed. At the same time, passing the standards for proficiency in military-applied skills may eliminate the need to pass the standards for dexterity.

For conscripts who have just arrived at the unit, the program for testing the level of physical fitness includes: pull-ups, 100 m run and 1 km run. And those entering a military university take pull-ups, 100 m run, 3 km run and 100 m swimming.

How results are assessed

Each exercise a soldier can receive a score:

  • Great;
  • Fine;
  • satisfactorily;
  • unsatisfactory.

The evaluation process itself takes into account the points scored for each exercise. But retaking the test to improve your grade is not allowed. Each soldier can only do one approach. This rule does not apply only to those persons who were sick or injured at the time of the inspection.

For each military personnel, a card is created for recording the results of physical fitness checks, which displays grades for the exercises performed. This data is duplicated in the summary reports of the department's inspection results.

Consequences of failure to pass physical fitness standards

Passing all standards is the responsibility of every military personnel. Incentive measures may be applied to those who have shown particularly high results - for example, a contract worker may be given a monetary reward.

But what awaits those individuals who have not passed the standards? Of course, conscripts will not be expelled from the army for this; they will continue to serve, systematically training, and thereby increase their level of physical fitness.

The prospects for contract soldiers are not so bright. To begin with, they will be scheduled for a re-check in 5 months. The serviceman must use this period to improve his physical abilities. Repeated failure to pass will lead to the appointment of an attestation commission, which will consider the possibility of the contract soldier continuing to serve in the army.

But you cannot enter a military university without a suitable level of physical fitness. There, passing physical education standards is considered an entrance exam. The same applies to the desire to join the army under a contract - to fulfill it you need to have a certain level of physical fitness.

The level of physical fitness of a serviceman is assessed when passing the standards. The requirements themselves vary depending on the place of service, age and gender of the serviceman. The types of exercises, standards and procedure for passing them are fixed at the legislative level. And to successfully pass the test, every military man must systematically train, increasing his level of physical fitness.

Perhaps any successful soldier is simply obliged to receive bonus for physical training.

This is how military personnel of the central military administration bodies of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation pass physical training standards

Firstly, the surcharge is 70% of and this is the largest allowance, which depends solely on the soldier personally. No one can influence this payment except the dealer himself.

Secondly, you will definitely be in good physical shape. This will add points to your communication with the opposite sex and improve your health.

Thirdly, the highest level of physical fitness can be achieved by anyone within 1 year, spending no more than 4-6 hours a week.

Where to start on your path to the highest level?

There are 3 basic exercises that you can take: pull-ups (strength), 100 meters (speed), 3 km (endurance). You can start going to the gym or do something else, but it’s worth remembering the postulate:

In order to do a lot of pull-ups, you need to do pull-ups.

Pulling up one of the elements when taking the bonus for physical training

The same is true for the other 2 standards. For those who want to take the shortest path to the desired increase, it is better to practice independently at home and in the yard. At the same time, time costs are minimized. It is better to gather a team of like-minded people, to increase social responsibility, do not skip training.

The closest fashionable sports to our goals are crossfit and workout. If you live in a large city and have access to such sections, sign up, tell the trainer your goals, and they will lead you by the hand to the result.

The classic rocking chair is not a direct path to maximum results in pull-ups and running, however, it can also work, especially for people in the 4th or older age group.

Difficulty to achieve highest level in FP depends on the constitution and current level of your physical fitness, we will highlight several groups of people:

1. Young hypersthenics
2. Middle-aged hypersthenics
3. Young asthenics
4. Middle-aged asthenics
5. Young normosthenics
6. Middle-aged normosthenics

The larger the group number, the easier it is to achieve the highest level of physical fitness. People who are overweight have the hardest time. It's hard to run with excess body weight.

For people age group 4 and over, the absence of excess weight allows you to reach the highest level in 2-4 months. For asthenics the situation is generally favorable. Regular exercise coupled with good nutrition will quickly bring results. For asthenics, on average, it is possible to reach the highest level in 4-6 months.

If you want to receive a bonus for physical activity, subscribe and follow the site’s news. We will regularly post bodyweight exercise techniques that can be performed at home and in the yard.

That's all for now. We wish everyone to prepare to pass the standards for physical training with “excellent” marks and next year begin to receive their honestly deserved 70% bonus for physical training.
