Earlier, at a meeting on the development of artistic gymnastics in the regions, held in Moscow at the Russian Ministry of Sports, the head of the department for physical culture and sports of the Evpatoria administration made a proposal to organize a summer training base at the city Sports Palace. He justified this by the fact that there is no need to build a new complex in Yevpatoria, it is only necessary to restore the existing one. It is in our city that the Crimean artistic gymnastics championship is traditionally held, and every autumn there is a tournament in memory of Evpatoria coaches,” said Alexander Polezhako.

The project will be financed by the Artistic Gymnastics Federation. “We must create more than one training base in Yevpatoria - for different sports. At the moment, negotiations are already underway in this direction.”
