Where Bilyaletdinov Diniyar plays. Diniyar Bilyaletdinov: I liked Zenit better with Hulk and Witsel A new turn in my career

  • 26.04.2024

Bronze medalist of the 2008 European Championship, champion and winner of the Russian Cup as part of Lokomotiv, and now a player of the Lithuanian Trakai, Diniyar Bilyaletdinov, speaks exclusively for Sport Day by Day about a new turn in his career and discusses the central match of the 15th round of the Russian Championship. Will the 32-year-old football player return to Russia? Could he end up at Zenit and what happened at Rubin last season? Diniyar Bilyaletdinov gave answers to these and other questions immediately after the end of the next match of the Lithuanian championship, in which he scored his fourth goal of the season.

Adapting to the role of forward

– In September of this year you moved to the Lithuanian Trakai. How was the adaptation process? How comfortable do you feel in the new conditions?

- Thanks, everything is fine. I play, however, in a new position for myself, a second striker. I'm getting used to it. There are a few games left in the Lithuanian championship. If we win, we might take a prize. It’s difficult to say which one exactly – we are one point behind the second-placed Zalgiris, and five behind the leader Suduva. Ahead are personal meetings with both competitors, every game, every goal is important. He also adapted to everyday life. The issue with renting an apartment and car was resolved quickly. And what kind of everyday problems could I have? Take the ball and play.

– Yes, but in the last match you had to play in heavy snow.

– It’s okay – in “Rubin” we met with “Sion” in similar conditions. The biggest problem was that we played against Jonava with summer ball: the snow sticks and you can’t really see it. Plus artificial turf. Difficult match. It's good that we won.

– In this match, you scored your next goal - you took a pass from the central zone and spectacularly hit the goal with your left foot. It turned out beautifully!

– We manage to score regularly. I understood the requirements of the head coach, my partners deliver the ball where I would like. It remains to be implemented. So far it’s going well: four goals in five matches is my personal record (smiles).

– How do they treat Russians in Lithuania?

- Fine. In Trakai, many people speak Russian among themselves on the streets and in shops.

– Is the Lithuanian championship much inferior to the Russian Premier League?

– How can I tell you... Of course, football here is completely different. There are teams with ten Spaniards and eight Portuguese. “Suduva prefers power football, while we and “Zalgiris” are trying to act in a quick combinational manner. But it is impossible to predict what the top four Lithuanian clubs could show in the Russian Championship.

– How do you feel in this atmosphere?

- Quite comfortable. My contract with Trakai is for a year, but there are certain agreements for the next transfer window. The problem is that in my last season at Rubin my statistics were not very good - I didn’t play a single game. Now, first of all, I need to get in shape and find myself.

– So you don’t rule out returning to Russia?

- No, I don’t rule it out. I don't know where the football curve will take me. But of course I will try to come back.

Petersburg has already begun its decline. "Lokomotiv" is not there yet"

– Do you follow the Russian championship?

– If possible. Leadership of Lokomotiv and Zenit? I wouldn’t discount either CSKA or Spartak. Something wrong is going on with Krasnodar, but I can’t explain what exactly. But CSKA and Spartak, I repeat, will still compete for the championship. Everyone goes through a bad streak. Zenit has already begun its decline; Lokomotiv, it seems to me, has not yet. CSKA and Spartak are emerging from the crisis. In short, the most interesting things are yet to come.

– You worked with Yuri Pavlovich Semin and are very familiar with his requirements. What is the secret of Lokomotiv's leadership?

– Lokomotiv plays very disciplined. I can’t say that his play evokes very vivid emotions, but a clear organization is evident. All the guys know perfectly well what to do, which is why the “railroad workers” look preferable to other teams.

– What is Lokomotiv’s trump card in the match with Zenit?

– Again, in organizing the game and in quick counterattacks. No, not even in counterattacks, but in attacks! I think Zenit will be keen on attacking, so Lokomotiv will have an advantage in high-speed attacks.

– “Zenith” will certainly put serious and systematic pressure on the “railroad” defense. Will the guests survive?

- I think yes. Why can't they stand it? Lokomotiv has a good defense; the movements of the defenders show what serious work is being done in this direction. Please note that Lokomotiv practically does not allow opponents to create chances near their goal. In short, it will be very difficult for Zenit to overcome such resistance.

– How does Semin motivate his teams for such meetings?

– Like any other coach, he tries to inspire that each player must prove, first of all, to himself that on the football field he is stronger than both his opponent in particular and the opposing team in general. But in principle, you don’t really need to prepare yourself for such matches, the guys understand everything perfectly. Moreover, the game will take place in such a stadium, with a large crowd of fans.

– A month ago, many crowned Zenit ahead of schedule. Were the experts too hasty with their forecasts?

– Recording teams as champions is the job of journalists. I don’t think that in October, when not even half the journey had been completed, the St. Petersburg team took such forecasts seriously. Zenit is a good team, showing good results in the Russian Championship and the Europa League. But, frankly, I liked Zenit with Hulk, Witsel and the constantly playing Dziuba more.

I don't have time to bite my elbows

– There was talk that at one time you too could end up at Zenit. Correct information?

– Yes, in 2008 I talked with the then head coach of Zenit, Dick Advocaat, and met with the president of the club, Dyukov. But Lokomotiv refused to transfer.

– And four years later, Advocaat, being the coach of the Russian national team, did not take you to Euro 2012.

- Well, yes. Happens.

– Your parting with Rubin can hardly be called amicable. What did this story teach you?

– Let’s rewind the film five years ago. You leave Everton, where you were in good standing, to play at the European Championships. But in the end you don’t get into the national team, and your career at Spartak is rapidly declining. Wasn’t it then that a fatal mistake was made?

– We are all human, and we all make mistakes. I often asked myself this question, thought a lot on this topic and now I understand that, probably, it was not worth making such sudden movements then. But everyone has their own destiny. What happened is what happened, nothing can be changed. I am thirty two years old. There is neither time nor desire to look back, squeeze out grievances, bite your elbows. I have to work. I hope I have a lot more to come.

– A lot is connected with your name in Russian football: the golden era of Lokomotiv, performance in the English Premier League, bronze of the Russian national team at Euro 2008. So come back, Diniyar!

- Thanks a lot! Let's see! (Smiles.)

Diniyar Bilyaletdinov is the winner of the “First Five” award in 2004, Honored Master of Sports of Russia, who began his professional career in the Moscow FC Lokomotiv. The footballer, who at different times defended the colors of Everton, Spartak, Torpedo and Rubin, now plays as a midfielder in the Lithuanian Tarkai.

Childhood and youth

The future famous football player was born on February 27, 1985, in the city of great opportunities - Moscow. The athlete's father Rinat Bilyaletdinov is an honored coach of Russia, played as a midfielder for Spartak Kostroma, Lokomotiv Moscow, Shinnik Yaroslavl and Czech UNEX.

Mother Adelia Abdulakhatovna worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist. In her youth, she did rhythmic gymnastics and played table tennis. In addition to Diniyar, the family had two more children - the eldest son, Marat, and the youngest, Danil.

The ex-Rubin midfielder spent his childhood on Pylinka, as the local kids called the vacant lot where the boys from the neighborhood kicked the ball every day. According to the athlete, the place was given this name because during the game, due to the lack of grass, there was always a dense cloud of dust in the air.

Diniyar Bilyaletdinov as a child with his father and brother

In addition to football, Diniyar was interested in music. During his youth, gangsta rap, which came from the West, was extremely popular. The “Riders” hat, colored bombers, large sneakers and flared pants more than once became the reason why local hooligans harassed Bilyaletdinov. In moments of “conflict of interests,” the football player repeatedly defended his position with the help of physical force.

Among other things, in his youth, Diniyar collected pieces of football scarves from teams for which he had a pronounced dislike. The resourceful guy used the paraphernalia of unsympathetic clubs as dusting rags and cleaning the floor. From the midfielder’s biography it is known that in addition to secondary education, the winner of the 2008 European Championship also has a higher education.

In January 2008, Bilyaletdinov, having successfully passed state exams and defended his thesis on the topic “Truck type 404, with a load capacity of 2500 kilograms with the development of a transfer case, clutch, maintenance and repair,” received a diploma from the Moscow State Industrial University.

Football

Diniyar was taken to the football section by his mother in 1990. Due to the family's frequent moves, the future midfielder studied at various football schools at the clubs where his father played in his youth. It is known that while living in the Czech Republic, he trained at the UNEX FC camp. Upon returning to his homeland, Diniyar played for the MEPhI Sports School for a couple of months, and at the age of 15 he became a junior at the Lokomotiv football school, where his father was the head coach at that time.

On June 30, 2002, in an away match against Anzhi, Diniyar entered the field for the first time as part of the Lokomotiv youth team. The debut in the adult team took place in 2004. In his first season with Lokomotiv Moscow, Bilyaletdinov became the champion of Russia and was awarded the title of “Best Young Player in the League” for his excellent play. In 2006, the football player joined the ranks of the Russian national team, in which he played 46 matches and scored 6 goals.

In 2007, Diniyar became captain of Lokomotiv. In recent years of playing for Loko Moscow, selectors of many Russian clubs were interested in Diniyar, but Bilyaletdinov himself wanted to play abroad and therefore did not consider their offers. On August 25, 2009, the well-proven midfielder was bought by English FC Everton for £9 million, signing a five-year contract with him.

He made his debut for Everton on August 30, 2009 in a match against Wigan. Bilyaletdinov came on as a substitute in the 89th minute of the match, but did not score any scoring chances. In the European Cup matches, Diniyar scored 5 goals against the Greek AEK. Playing in the English Premier League, he scored his first goal against Wolverhampton, the second against Aston Villa, and the third against Birmingham City.

The productive game made Bilyaletdinov a favorite of English fans. According to the results of a survey conducted by the official website of the Everton club among users, he became the team's best midfielder.

The 2010-2011 season did not start in the best way for Diniyar. There are fewer game matches and, accordingly, fewer goals scored. The coach moved the player from the starting lineup who had stopped performing to the bench. Only the departure of Steven Pienaar from the team in January brought the Russian midfielder back onto the field.

On January 23, 2012, Diniyar returned to Russia. Moscow Spartak settled the transfer issue with the English club Everton, and Diniyar moved to their camp. As a result, the management of Spartak had to pay € 6.5 million for the athlete. The contract between Moscow Spartak and Bilyaletdinov was officially signed on January 29, 2012. At a press conference on January 31, he was introduced as player number 25. The athlete scored his first goal for Spartak in May 2012 against Zenit.

Diniyar Bilyaletdinov at the Rubin club

In July 2015, the footballer signed a contract with Rubin Kazan. He played his first match for the club on July 30 of the same year in the 3rd qualifying round of the Europa League against Sturm. In the summer, Bilyaletdinov received a serious injury and was out of action. After the recovery, it became known that Kazan coach Javi Gracia does not count on the player. In the 2016-2017 season, Diniyar never entered the field, and at the end of it he left the team as a free agent.

Personal life

In June 2011, the famous football player said goodbye to his single life. His wife was a former member of the support group of the CSKA basketball club, dancer and model Maria Pozdnyakova. The couple met in 2006 at a holiday with mutual friends. The athlete's chosen one is a PR agent by training.

For the sake of the family, the young lady pushed her ambitions to the back burner, devoting herself entirely to raising her sons Timur and Marcel, born in March 2012 and September 2013. It is known that before getting married, Bilyaletdinov briefly dated one of the most famous “angels” of Victoria’s Secret, a Brazilian model.

Diniyar Bilyaletdinov now

At the beginning of 2017, a rumor appeared on the Internet that Diniyar could join the ranks of the capital's FC Ararat, but this information was later denied by the footballer himself. In September, Lithuanian FC Trakai announced the signing of a contract with the former Rubin midfielder. On the same day, Bilyaletdinov made his debut for the team as a second forward in the game against Lietava.

Diniyar Bilyaletdinov's transfer to Ararat turned out to be a "duck"

At the post-match conference, the Honored Master of Sports of Russia told media representatives about the reasons for choosing the camp of this particular club and how preparations are going for the derby with Zalgiris, which will take place in October this year. Despite constant training, Diniyar does not forget about the fans.

Mine "Istagram" he regularly updates with photographs from his personal archive and video clips from his vacation. Also on the social network VKontakte, fans of the famous athlete have created a community in which they publish the latest news from the life of their favorite. Due to the family's frequent moves, the future midfielder studied at different football schools at the clubs where his father played. While living in the Czech Republic, together with his older brother, they trained at the Czech “UNEX” junior team.

Upon returning from the Czech Republic, Diniyar trained at the Sports and Youth Sports School of MEPhI, under the guidance of Dmitry Popov. At the age of 15, he began training under the guidance of his father, who coached the junior team at the Lokomotiv football school.

In high school, after a review, he joined the Lokomotiv reserve team under the leadership of Andrei Semin.

After graduating from school in 2001, Diniyar entered the Moscow State Industrial University, which he successfully graduated in January 2008.

"Locomotive"

On June 30, 2002, Diniyar took to the field for the first time as part of the Lokomotiv reserve team in an away match against Anzhi. He started scoring his first goals in the 2003/04 season.

The debut in the adult team took place in 2004. In his first season as a member of Lokomotiv Moscow, he became the “Champion of Russia” with the team and received the title “Best Young Player of the League.” Winner of the Russian Super Cup and the 2005 Commonwealth Cup.

He made his debut for Everton on August 30, 2009 in a match against Wigan. Bilyaletdinov came on as a substitute in the 89th minute of the match, but did not score any scoring chances. In the European Cup matches, Diniyar scored 5 goals against the Greek AEK.

The 2010/11 season did not start in the best way for Diniyar. Either the injuries had an effect, or the English way the coaches treated players from Russia. There are fewer game matches and, accordingly, there are fewer forgotten goals. And Diniyar Bilyaletdinov moved from the starting lineup to the bench.

Diniyar Bilyaletdinov - a player with a magical left

Only the departure of Steven Pienaar from the team in January brought the Russian midfielder back onto the field. On January 22, 2011, in a match with the West Ham team, Bilyaletdinov resumed his goal count for the season. On February 5, 2011, he made an assist in a match against Blackpool. And on April 9, 2011, he scored a goal against the Wolverhampton team.

And Diniyar played the first games of the 2011/12 season in the main team. He took part in matches of the English Championship, but his performance was low. And soon again Bilyaletdinov moved to the bench. All this upset Diniyar, he wanted to play, and not be on the bench. At the end of 2011, Bilyaletdinov made a statement to the media about his desire to change the club. The main reason was the lack of playing practice, which was necessary to participate in the 2012 European Championship.

"Spartacus"

On January 23, 2012, Diniyar returned to Russia. Moscow Spartak announced the settlement of the transfer issue with the English club Everton for the transfer of Diniyar.

Personal life of Dinara Bilyaletdinov

In May 2011, Diniyar Bilyaletdinov made an announcement on his Twitter account about his upcoming wedding. And on June 11, 2011, he said goodbye to single life. His wife was a former member of the CSKA support group, dancer and model Maria.

Anna Mikhalkova, Diniyar Bilyaletdinov. Evening Urgant

The newlyweds met in 2006 at a party with mutual friends. Maria is a PR agent by training, but now her career is in the past. On March 21, 2012, Diniyar and Maria became parents and their son Timur was born.

Since February 6, 2012, Diniyar Bilyaletdinov has been the official confidant of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Diniyar Bilyaletdinov was born in Moscow on February 27, 1985 in the family of the famous football player “Lokomotiv” and Yaroslavl “Shinnik” of the 80s Rinat Bilyaletdinov. However, little Diniyar was brought to football school by his mother - in 1990, the future Loko captain began his education at the Chertanovo sports school.

Three years later, the Bilyaletdinovs moved with their entire family to the Czech Republic, where Rinat Sayarovich was offered a contract at Uchichovo UNEX. For a year, Diniyar and his older brother Marat were involved in the local football section, gaining “legionary” experience from an early age.

Returning to Moscow in 1994, Bilyaletdinov continued to play football at the MEPhI school (GPZ-1 “Bearing”). In order to get to training, Diniyar now needed more than an hour. The boy quickly got used to independence and at the age of 8 he began going to classes alone. Mom Adeliya Abdulakhmatovna recalls an incident when Diniyar had to travel alone to the other end of Moscow for some tournament. She still had baby Danil in her arms (Diniyar’s younger brother - approx.), her older brother Marat was sick, and her dad was away. Diniyar came to this tournament and even earned the prize for the best player - sports shorts, which, however, turned out to be too small for him. However, he asked his mother to put them aside for his brother.

At the age of 15, Bilyaletdinov Jr. moved to the Lokomotiv football school, where he began training in a group of guys born in 1985 under the guidance of his father.

In 2001, Diniyar graduated from high school without grades and started thinking about getting a higher education. At the age of 16, it was not yet clear whether he would play or not, and therefore his parents decided that another profession would not be superfluous for their son. As a result of the entrance exams, Diniyar became a student at the Moscow State Industrial University. In January 2008, Bilyaletdinov successfully passed the state exams and defended his thesis on the topic “Truck type 404, with a load capacity of 2500 kilograms with the development of a transfer case, clutch, maintenance and repair.”

On June 30, 2002, Diniyar made his debut in the reserve team of Lokomotiv, coming on as a substitute in the 89th minute of the away match against Anzhi. Bilyaletdinov had to wait a whole year for his first goals - on June 22, 2003, the midfielder’s double (in the 3rd and 37th minutes) allowed the red-greens to defeat the reserves of the capital’s Dynamo 6:1.

And already on February 29, 2004, Lokomotiv head coach Yuri Semin entrusted Diniyar with a place in the starting lineup in the return game of the 1/16 finals of the 2003/04 Russian Cup with Khimki. It was 2004 that can be considered a turning point in Bilyaletdinov’s career. Starting from the end of March, Diniyar began to be regularly involved in the main team of Loko, scoring his first goal in the debut match of the championship against Torpedo in Luzhniki. In 2004, Diniyar won his first championship title and won the Premier and Big Five football awards. In 2007, after Dmitry Loskov left Loko, Diniyar Bilyaletdinov was chosen by his teammates as the new captain of Lokomotiv.

In 2009, he signed a contract with the English Everton. He made his debut for Everton on August 30, 2009, coming on as a substitute in the 88th minute in the 4th round match with Wigan.

On February 3, 2014, Spartak and Anzhi reached an agreement that Diniyar would play out the rest of the 2013/14 season at the Makhachkala club.
